Estella Valentino
Assistant Teacher (she/her)
Estella joined Park West Coop Nursery School this year as an assistant teacher, and she couldn't be more excited to get started! Estella graduated from the University of Michigan last year with a degree in Developmental Psychology and French. Before coming to Park West, she spent two years working at a preschool that also used a play-based learning approach, and she was able to see how amazingly it worked for the children. Estella is brand new to Chicago so she's looking forward to getting to know the neighborhood and the community as much as she is to getting to know everyone in her class and at Park West. When she's not at school, you can usually find Estella baking something, doing yoga, or spending time outside as much as possible. She's deeply passionate about early childhood development and feels lucky to get to do work she cares about this much every day.
