Katrina Nousaine Mann

Education Director (she/her)

Katrina came to Park West very early in her career, as an assistant teacher in JK and camp counselor. This early role at Park West provided her with a deep respect for children as individuals and for the power of play as a vehicle for learning. After finishing her schooling, she went on to teach at CPS, work for the Erikson Early Math project and coach classroom teachers. When she had her own child, she knew she wanted his first school experience to be at Park West. She then returned to Park West as a parent, and soon after, rejoined as faculty. She is passionate about helping children explore early mathematical concepts in the context of real world experiences and supporting the needs of diverse learners. She holds a Master of Science in Early Childhood Education from the Erikson Institute. This year, Katrina will serve as Education Director, supporting children, families and teachers both within and outside of the classroom.
