Carlye is honored and thrilled to be joining the team at Park West. She first became involved with Park West in 2022 through the family she nannied for—both children began with the Tots class and continued all the way through JK! Carlye earned her Bachelor's Degree from North Central College in Naperville in 2015, majoring in Theatre with a minor in Psychology. She brings a rich blend of creativity, emotional insight, and hands-on experience to her role as an Assistant Teacher and Tots Teacher at Park West.
Before joining Park West, Carlye worked as an educational facilitator at the Griffin Museum of Science and Industry, and has spent the past seven years as a professional nanny. Her background in both structured education and caregiving has fueled a deep passion for helping young children understand and navigate their feelings—laying the foundation for both emotional intelligence and confidence.
Carlye especially enjoys integrating her love for hands-on creativity into the classroom. In her free time, you might find her knitting, sewing, playing guitar, or baking.
Her favorite children’s book is Wherever You Go by Pat Zietlow Miller and Eliza Wheeler, a story that mirrors her belief in nurturing wonder and resilience in every child’s journey.
