Week of Giving

At Park West, tuition doesn't cover the full cost of running our school. Each year, our Mind the Gap campaign helps bridge the difference, and this year we're celebrating in a new way with a full week of giving, community, and Park West pride!
What makes Park West so special is our cooperative model and the families who make it work. Park West is more than a preschool. It's a community where children, parents, and teachers come together to create a meaningful early education experience. Through our involvement, we show our children that their education matters, their ideas matter, and play matters.
Our goal is 100% family participation!
We suggest a gift of $1,000, but every gift, at any amount, is welcome and appreciated. More than reaching a dollar amount, we hope to see every Park West family participate at a level that feels right for them. When we all give together, we demonstrate our shared commitment to the school and community we love.
This Week, Your Gift Goes Twice as Far!
A generous Park West supporter has pledged to match every donation, dollar for dollar, up to $25,000! That means a $50 gift becomes $100, and a $1,000 gift becomes $2,000. Every donation helps us make the most of this generous matching opportunity and brings us one step closer to 100% participation.
A Week of Park West Pride!
We're celebrating our school and community all week long!
Show Your Pride (Tuesday and Wednesday): Wear your Park West shirts and gear, children and grownups alike! Tuesday is for 2-Day, 4-Day, and JK families, and Wednesday is for 3-Day families.
Give Back (All Week): Our generosity extends beyond our own classrooms as we participate in the Cradles to Crayons Gear Up for Winter drive.
Celebrate Our People (Thursday): Hear from our teachers about what your support means to them, meet a former Park West family in our Alumni Spotlight, and see how much our Pride-o-meter has grown!
Finish Together (Friday): We'll wrap up the week with one final push toward our goal and celebrate what we've accomplished together.
A Little Thank You for Giving!
We have a few special ways to thank families who participate in Mind the Gap this year.
Be Part of Our Park West Pride-o-meter! Each child will bring home a coloring sheet. As a family, decorate it and share what you love about Park West. Once you've made your donation, return your sheet to school and we'll add it to our growing Pride-o-meter display in the entryway. We can't wait to see it fill up throughout the week!
A Chance to Win! Every giving family will receive one raffle entry for a chance to win one of five spots in our Heads or Tails game at the February Gala.
Show Your Park West Pride! Every giving family will receive a Park West keychain to carry a little school pride wherever they go.

Employer Matching Gifts: Many employers will match charitable donations. We have a sample donation request letter and a copy of Park West's 501(c)(3) certificate available to help you request a match.
Invite Grandparents and Special Friends: Have a grandparent or someone special who would love to support your child's school? We've created a short note you can forward or personalize to invite them to participate.
