Just over a year ago I made a big life change and chose to relocate to Chicago for graduate studies in child development. There are many angles I enjoy tackling in my academic work, but I am especially drawn to researching alternative narratives to the concept of school readiness. Before starting graduate studies, I had the privilege of working alongside children and familes at a lovely Reggio-inspired nursery school in Atlanta, Georgia for nearly a decade. I truly have missed being immersed in the the wonderful learning and joy that happens in the early years and I am thrilled to join the Park West Tots 1 Team. When not studying, you might find me at the ballet studio, reading by the lake, or at the rock climbing gym.
