Welcome to the 2026-2027 School Year
Welcome back! It was so wonderful to see so many returning families and meet our new families at orientation on Friday. The teachers and staff have been very busy this past week preparing their classrooms and the rest of school for your children to make their awaited return. While I know it is difficult to say goodbye to summer, there is such excitement at the start of the new school year and filling the halls with tiny feet and laughter.
At the beginning of summer I was able to share with you the amazing gym equipment Park West was able to purchase and install because of the generosity of the 2025-2026 Park West community at our very successful Havana Nights gala. I wanted to share with you a few more of the glowups that have occurred over the summer months to help keep Park West the amazing place it is.
Summer Improvements:
2 new water tables for our first floor and 2 east classrooms
2 electrical outlets placed in the 2 west loft area
New countertops in the kitchen and upstairs office
New tabletops in all classrooms
Smart Board in the office
Gym Equipment
Thank you for all of your generous support, I am so looking forward to this upcoming school year and watching all of your families grow and learn. I am excited for us all to come together for the first time as a community at our Fall General Meeting on Wednesday, September 16th @ 6:30 pm, if you have not already done so please RSVP. Our super fun Fall Block party follows on Saturday, September 19th and it is not an event you want to miss. Like Ashley said Friday, I have a lot of free time on my hands so please don’t hesitate to reach out.
