Lunch Bunch is an enrichment option offered to our half day JK and 4-Day students during the lunch period before or after their Park West class. Staffed by our own Park West teachers and staff, Lunch Bunch meets for an additional hour each day. Students enrolled in Lunch Bunch will not only share a catered lunch together, but will have opportunities to try new foods, share meals with new teachers and friends and engage in additional play as an extension of their JK class experiences.

2 East JK (12:00 pm - 1:00 pm)

Half Day JK students enrolled in Lunch Bunch will participate in the program with the Full Day students prior to their afternoon JK class. Parents and caregivers will drop students off at 12:00 pm for Lunch Bunch and Park West staff will assist students in transitioning to their JK classroom at 1:00 pm following Lunch Bunch.

2 East Morning & 2 West Morning (11:30 am - 12:30 pm)

Half Day 4-Day students enrolled in Lunch Bunch will enjoy the program after their morning class from 11:30 am - 12:30 pm. Park West staff will transition students to Lunch Bunch and then to parents/caregivers for dismissal at 12:30 pm.


Menu Details
The daily menu will be shared with families a month in advance (see link above) so that parents will always know what is being offered to their child. Each day lunch will include a protein, grain, vegetable, fruit and milk. Our caterer, Fly Girl Fly, utilizes all-natural, organic and locally sourced ingredients when available to give students the most nutritional benefits possible. Options will be available for students whose diets are gluten-free, vegan and vegetarian and strict protocols are used in the kitchen to offer allergen free lunches for children with allergies. Children will have the autonomy to select from the items offered, to encourage self-regulated eating.

Staffing
Lunch Bunch will be staffed by Park West teachers and staff, who will build on the relationships formed during class. These relationships will inform which activities are offered, with teachers addressing kids’ specific needs and fine tuning offerings to reflect kids’ interests.

Start Dates
To allow for all students to separate from their parents/caregivers and settle into the routines of the regular school day, Lunch Bunch will start on September 16 for 2 East JK and on November 4 for 2 East Morning and 2 West Morning students.

Registration
Registration will be available on a monthly basis. Families can choose to register for a single month at a rate of $25/day or can register for one of our four seasonal sessions (Fall 1, Fall 2, Winter, Spring) at a 5% discounted rate or for the entire school year at a 10% discounted rate. Billing / Payment
Once you have completed the registration form, if a confirmed space is available, you will be invoiced via TADS for the month/session you’ve registered. The invoice will be auto-paid via the payment method stored in your TADS billing account unless you specify another payment method before the invoice due date.
